OUR HISTORY

ALCF began on June 6, 2001 with a group of about 30 people under the leadership of our Pastor, Scott C. Becker. Since that time God has done many wonderful things. We have been blessed to see many souls saved and baptized, and we are growing stronger in our relationship with the Lord every day.

On October 3, 2004 our church followed the leading of the Lord and the vision of our Pastor by starting a new church plant in the Lake Asbury area of Green Cove Springs. We were excited about this opportunity to reach out to the community with the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. During the two years we worshipped out of the Lake Asbury Junior High School building, God showed Himself faithful as He grew our church with many wonderful families from the community and blessed us with thriving children's and youth ministries.

In August of 2007, God abundantly blessed us with our own building to worship from at our present location on College Drive. We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am, 10:30 am, Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, and mid-week on Wednesdays at 7 pm. Children's Church, Preschool and Nursery services are provided. If you live in the Orange Park, Middleburg, Lake Asbury or Doctor's Inlet area we would love for you to come and join us!

At Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, we are a Bible believing, multi-denominational church that welcomes all people from all backgrounds. We are a community of ordinary people with a passion for loving God and loving people and it's our desire to take His love to the people in our neighborhood.

Together, we are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible - a church with Bible-centered, practical messages, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We seek to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence, encourage and serve the community.
